Grade VII Project Manager: Patient Narrative, Your Voice Matters

Expression of Interest for Grade VII – Project Manager, Patient Narrative, Your Voice Matters, Clinical Strategy and Programmes,

(CSP) Office of the Chief Clinical Officer – Fixed term to December 2019.

Expressions of Interest are invited from all staff of the HSE, TUSLA and bodies which provide services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act and are employed at Grade VII level or analogous clinical grade, who are interested in reassigning to the above role.

Reassignment will be on a grade to grade basis only and current remuneration will apply.

Respiratory Physiologist - Mallow

There is currently one permanent whole-time post (1 WTE) and one permanent part-time post (0.5 WTE) available in the Respiratory Sleep Medical Service, Mallow General Hospital.

The post holder will provide pulmonary function services to wards and departments of Mallow General Hospital.  The Respiratory Sleep Medical Service is a consultant led service supported by Clinical Nurse Specialist, Respiratory Physiologist and administrative support.

Cardiac Physiologist (Locum) Mullingar

Cardiac Physiologist required for a locum assignment to start asap with an acute hospital in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, excellent opportunity.

The successful applicant will be required to work in conjunction with the Cardiology Team in providing a range of diagnostic and monitoring services to cardiac patients.

The busy Cardiac Department carries out a wide range of Cardiological Investigations which include the following:

Stress ECGs

24 Hr. BP Monitoring Analysis

24 Hr. Holter Monitoring Analysis

Perform and report on Echocardiography

Cardiac Rehabilitation and heart failure clinics

The Cardiac Physiologist together with the Cardiac Nurse will be involved in the delivery of this service

Interested candidates are required to:

Possess a Degree in Clinical Physiology / Clinical Measurement Science or a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (Prior to 2005) or other  qualification deemed equivalent by the IICMS

Ideally, have some post graduate experience working in a non-invasive setting

The ability to perform and interpret ECHO is desirable

Cardiac Physiologist (Senior) Waterford

Cpl Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist on behalf of a large acute hospital in Waterford, Ireland for a locum with the opportunity for a permanent role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state of the art department with an excellent support structure.

The department provides a full range of non-invasive and invasive cardiac investigations and treatments including; ECG, Echocardiogram, Exercise Stress Testing, Blood pressure monitoring, Holter Monitoring, Event Monitors, Pacemaker and Defibrillator follow-up, Transoesophageal Echocardiogram, Coronary Angiography and Coronary Angioplasty and stenting procedures.

Duties of the post will include:

Assisting and performing all procedures provided by the department as above

Interpretation of tests, preliminary reporting and alerting medical staff to any serious anomalies.

Assisting in maintaining departmental procedures and protocols including infection control and general lab hygiene.

Participation in patient care i.e. preparation and reassurance of patient

Interested candidates are required to have:

A degree / recognised qualification in Clinical Measurement or equivalent

Experience performing, reading and interpreting ECHO

Experience work in a Cath Lab would also be desirable

CRM device management i.e. ICD/PPM and Cath. Lab.

Vascular Technologist(Physiologist) required for a permanent opportunity in Bermuda with brand new start-up state of the art clinic.

The vascular technologist(physiologist) will use complex diagnostic ultrasound equipment in arterial and venous testing.

GI Physiologist (Permanent - Basic Grade) - Cork

The role offers great scope to develop a career in technical GI physiology that will enhance your experience in a growing discipline.

Responsibilities - The post holder will be responsible for;

Working within the GI Function Unit, as part of the Department of Gastroenterology and supervised by a Chief Clinical Measurement Physiologist,

you will learn and develop the skills required for the provision of a diagnostic service in gastroenterology.

It would be preferable to have to have some knowledge and previous experience of GI Physiology testing but training will be provided.
