Grainne Buicke

Grainne Buicke is currently employed as an Acting Senior Physiologist in University Hospital Limerick

On completion for her undergraduate degree Grainne was the first graduate from the BSc Clinical Measurement Science Program to be presented with the Dublin Institute of Technology Gold Medal Academic Excellence Prize on behalf of the academic council in DIT.
Post qualification Grainne began her career as a vascular physiologist in the Mater Miscordiae University Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Cleona Gray. From there she relocated to her home county of Limerick and took up employment in UHL.
She currently is the vice chair of the IICMP Academic Accreditation Council and is a vascular faculty member since 2018.
Grainne is passionate about practice education and has contributed to the development of a reflective practice module for HSELand and reflective practice resources for the HSCP office.
