The Role of Advocacy Services: Supporting Open Disclosure

PURPOSE OF THE WEBINAR:
- To give an overview of the Patient Advocacy Service and National Advocacy Service and explain their remit and services available
- To share the person’s lived experience
- To demonstrate how Advocacy Services can support a person with reduced capacity
- To show how the Patient Advocacy Service and National Advocacy Services can be used in the Open Disclosure process
- To give an overview of the National Advocacy Service and explain our remit and services available
- To share the person’s lived experience
- To discuss the importance of a person centred approach to service provision for people with disabilities.
