We are Health Professionals who are part of a group of professions known as Health and Social Care Professionals. We mainly work in the area of diagnostics, carrying out tests directly on patients and very often providing reports on these tests. We also work in the therapeutic area, following up on initiated therapies to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

IICMP Respiratory Physiology Executive

Respiratory physiologists are part of a large multidisciplinary team. Their role is to investigate respiratory and sleep disorders through various diagnostic tools and methodologies.

 

In a Respiratory Physiology Department, the Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist performs a full set of lung function tests includes the following:

  • Spirometry
  • Lung volumes
  • Gas transfer
  • Bronchodilator response

IICMP Vascular Physiology Executive

Vascular physiologists are primarily involved in the diagnosis of disease of the veins and arteries. Most vascular physiologists work within vascular laboratories as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Academic Accreditation Council
